Borrowed Immunity

The Quick-Start Guide.

What to take, when to take it, and how to know it's working.

Edition 01 · 2026
02 A Note from Jacki

Read this first.

If you're reading this, you've already done the hardest part. You got curious. Curious about what an immune system can actually do when it has the right information. Curious about why something studied for seventy years isn't on every shelf at every pharmacy.

I made this guide because most people who try Transfer Factor for the first time make one of five mistakes. They quit too early. They take it inconsistently. They expect drug-like effects. They compare it to caffeine. They go it alone with no one to ask questions of.

You don't have to make any of those mistakes. This guide gives you everything you need to skip them.

What's inside

I read every email that comes in. So does my team. There are no chatbots, no autoresponders, no "we'll get back to you in 5 business days." There's a person on the other end of every message you send us, and we want you to use that.

Take what's helpful. Leave the rest. Reach out when you need us.

03 Section One

The 60-second decision tree.

Three formulas. One match. Read the descriptions and pick the one that sounds like you. Don't overthink it — most people upgrade or shift later, and that's normal.

Tri-Factor Formula

$53
The Foundation · Available Now

For people who want to start with the proven core — and then decide.

Two hero immune sources combined: bovine first-milk colostrum and avian egg yolk. The flagship 4Life formula, patented in 2004. Where seventy years of research has been distilled into the simplest, most studied form. Start here if you're generally healthy and want to fortify what's already working. You can always upgrade to Plus later.

60 veggie capsules · ≈30-day supply

Transfer Factor Plus

$70
The Amplified · Available Now

For people dealing with higher daily stress, frequent travel, or recovering from a long season.

Tri-Factor's foundation, layered with mushroom blend, zinc, and IP-6. The deepest immune fortification 4Life makes today, and the formula most members swear by. Choose Plus if you want broader coverage — beyond just the foundation. Many members who start with Tri-Factor upgrade to Plus around month two.

60 veggie capsules · ≈30-day supply

Transfer Factor Max

$89
The Future · Coming July 1, 2026

For people who want the latest formulation — and don't mind waiting a few weeks.

4Life's most powerful immune support — the first product with all four types of Transfer Factor in one bottle. 900 mg total (600 mg animal-based Tri-Factor + 300 mg plant-based PhytoFactor from Brassica napus seeds), backed by three clinical studies. Most people shouldn't wait — start with Tri-Factor or Plus today and transition to Max when it launches. If you'd rather hold, reach out to my team to be added to the launch notification list.

120 veggie capsules · with IP-6 + Super Mushroom Blend

Already taken Transfer Factor before?

If your last bottle was over six months ago, restart with Tri-Factor for 30 days regardless of where you ended up before. The body benefits from a clean re-baseline. If you were on Tri-Factor and it felt right, stay there. If you were on Plus and it felt right, hold on Plus and join the Max waitlist for July.

Prices shown are pre-tax. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. U.S. shipping is free on orders $100 or more — bundling Tri-Factor and Plus together qualifies.

04 Section Two

The 90-day timeline.

When you start something the body has to learn from, change comes in waves, not switches. Here's what to feel for, week by week, so you don't quit at the exact moment it's about to deliver.

Days 1–7 · The Landing

Most people feel nothing dramatic. This is normal.

Transfer Factor isn't a stimulant — it's not caffeine, it's not a B-complex shot, it's not an antibiotic. It's information. Your body is receiving it and beginning to integrate. Subtle markers to watch: sleep depth, morning clarity, mood baseline.

What NOT to expect: a sudden burst of energy, a clear before/after, anything you'd describe as "it kicked in."

Days 8–21 · The First Responders

Some people get the first signal here.

Around weeks two and three, the people who notice first usually mention these specifically: recovery from late nights or hard workouts feels faster, the "always-tired" baseline gets a half-step better, sleep gets a notch deeper, the first cold/flu exposure of the season passes through with less drama.

If you don't feel any of these yet, that's still normal. Some bodies are slower to respond. Keep going.

Days 22–45 · The Stabilization

The new baseline starts forming.

By weeks four to six, most members report energy that doesn't crash mid-afternoon, faster bounce-back from physical or emotional stress, less seasonal allergy interference, and a subtle mental clarity that wasn't there before.

This is the window where many people say "something is different, I just can't fully pin it." That feeling is the new baseline forming.

The 30-day decision point.

Your first-bottle guarantee runs through the first 30 days from delivery. If by day 30 you genuinely can't say something is starting to shift — reach out to my team first, and if we can't troubleshoot it, send the bottle back for a full refund. After day 30 the guarantee window closes, but our support never does.

Days 46–75 · The Compound

The library is filling.

Independent clinical work documents NK cell activity continuing to rise through this window — an increase of up to 437% over baseline. What you'll notice: the new baseline holds even through stress. Recovery is faster than it used to be. Workout performance subtly improves. Resilience becomes the word you'd use.

Days 76–90+ · The New Normal

What was variable becomes stable.

By 90 days, the "good days" become the regular days. Most members find this is the point where they can't imagine NOT taking it. The compounding effect is the whole reason the science works the way it does — and the whole reason consistency matters.

Haven't felt a meaningful shift by 90 days?

Reach out to my team. There may be a stack-issue, an absorption issue, or a timing question we can troubleshoot — and if there's a structural reason it isn't working for you, we'd rather know than have you keep going. Past the 30-day guarantee window, we can't refund the product, but we'll always help you sort it out.

05 Section Three

The five rookie mistakes.

Most people who don't get results from Transfer Factor make one of these five mistakes. None of them have anything to do with the science. All of them are easy to skip.

  1. Quitting in week two. Week two is the dip. Most people feel nothing dramatic and assume it's not working. The data — and the lived experience of tens of thousands of members — says weeks three to six are when the felt-difference appears. If you quit in week two, you stop the experiment exactly when it's about to deliver. Set a 90-day commitment in your calendar. Don't decide before then.
  2. Skipping days. Transfer Factor compounds. Each dose extends the immune library. Skipping three days a week resets you to roughly half the cumulative effect. Build a daily reminder. Pair it with something you do every morning anyway — coffee, breakfast, brushing your teeth. Take it at the same time. Treat it like a vitamin you actually believe in.
  3. Stacking too much at once. If you start three new supplements at the same time and feel something, you can't tell which one is doing what. For the first 60 days, run a clean experiment. Just Transfer Factor plus your usual baseline. After 60 days, layer other things if you want — but you'll know what's working and what isn't.
  4. Expecting it to feel like a drug. Antibiotics give you a clear before/after. Caffeine gives you a clear before/after. Transfer Factor doesn't. It works upstream of how you'd "feel" — at the cellular communication level. The shift is real but quieter. Most people describe it not as "I feel better" but as "I'm not getting sick the way I used to" or "I'm bouncing back faster than I should."
  5. Going it alone. If anything is unclear, ask. Reach out through borrowedimmunity.com — we've heard every question, and being part of a community of people who actually use this is the strongest predictor of sticking with it long enough to see results.
06 Section Four

What it actually looks like.

These are honest accounts from members who agreed to share. Names and identifying details have been generalized. What you'll find here is what it felt like, by week, in their own words. The pattern — flat in week one, first signal week three to six, stabilization week four to eight, new baseline by week twelve — is what you should expect.

S
Week 1–2 "I felt nothing. I almost quit. My husband told me to stick with it because we'd already paid for it."
Week 4 "I noticed I'd worked three back-to-back 12-hour shifts and didn't crash on day three the way I usually would."
Week 8 "Cold and flu season was full swing on the unit and I went through it without a single sick day. Last year I was out four times."
Month 6 "Switched to Plus to add the broader support. My baseline is genuinely different. I'm not as tired by Friday."
J
Week 1 "Nothing. Wife asked if I was just throwing money away."
Week 3 "Sleeping deeper. Not waking up at 4am the way I had been."
Week 6 "Chronic sinus issue I'd had for years started clearing up. Not overnight — just less and less, then gone."
Month 3 "I'm 64. I haven't felt this clear in fifteen years. I keep waiting for the catch."
M
Week 2 "Nothing dramatic but didn't feel worse, which was new."
Week 5 "First time in a year I went a whole week without feeling tired the moment I woke up."
Week 10 "Three kids brought home a stomach bug. Everyone got sick except me. First time that's ever happened."
Month 4 "I'm not the sick mom anymore. I'm just the mom."
M
Week 2 "Energy felt the same."
Week 4 "Recovery from physical work — I noticed it. I didn't wake up sore the way I had been."
Week 9 "Wife says I'm sleeping like a teenager. I haven't slept like this since I was thirty."
Month 4 "Made it through the worst flu season we've had in years and didn't catch it. Crew around me dropped one after another."

These aren't unicorn stories. They're typical timelines. Some bodies respond faster, some slower. If your timeline runs flatter or longer than these, that's still inside the normal range. Reach out to my team if you want a second opinion at the 30-day mark.
